The Algarve is a unique and challenging area to explore by bike. The altitude varies from 200m to over 500m. The roads are almost empty and with a subtropical climate it is thé ideal place for training purposes, for example to prepare for the road cycling or skating season, but also for the ones who like a sportive holiday.
The quiet hinterland has a variety of trails with a length of 50 to 150 kilometers in a hilly landscape with varying altitudes up to 550 m.

For sporty cyclists -
CASAL DA EIRA
We offer a package deal ‘Cycling in the Algarve‘ for the sporty cyclist. You will cycle through the quiet, hilly hiterland of the Algarve. There are a varied routes with a lenght from 50 up to 150 kilometers wth heights up to 550m. There are varied routes along quiet roads through forests and past small villages with beautiful views. We have routes on maps or on GPS.
The routes are suitable for racing bikes, MTB or electric bikes. You can bring your own bike or rent a bike on site. We can arrange this for you. We cooperate with Avalanche Algarve Bike Shop.
We can also arrange getting you from Faro Airport to Casal da Eira vv.
Groups of cyclists -
CASAL DA EIRA
It is possible for a group to hire our house in the Algarve. You will have access to your own living / dining room, large kitchen with all facilities, swimming pool and 8 rooms. Price on request.
