AROUND CASAL DA EIRA
The Algarve is one of the most favourite golf destinations in southern Europe. The coast is dotted with beautiful golf courses where you can play golf throughout the year. In the winter months there are often special memberships available.
Also near São Brás de Alportel there is plenty of choice. For example Quinta da Ria and Castro Marim are spectacular golf courses. The first is located in a nature reserve and the second offers stunning views of the river Guadiana and Spain.

Pinheiros Altos is close to Faro and the National Park of the Ria Formosa. It is a challenging course because of its alternating holes. They have 9 holes over rolling sand surface, and 9 holes by hills with lakes that form obstacles for golfers.
Noteworthy: Pine Cliffs ( Albufeira ), Pinheiro Altos ( Quinta do Lago ) and Salgados (Albufeira ).
