After our winter closing period, we are back to business in our Portuguese Bed and Breakfast in the Algarve.
Except relaxing and making some trips during winter, we also did some work to further improve for our guests at our Bed and Breakfast. A beautiful new (shaded) terrace in front of our B&B is made. A pleasant lazy sofa and armchairs will be placed over there. At the pool we made ‘solid’ umbrellas ‘feet’, so the wind has less control over the umbrellas. We made a new garden with orange trees. Maybe, some time in the future we can serve orange juice from our own trees… Our ‘workshop’ alias bike room has been refurbished with a new roof and windows. We are pleased how it all worked out!
Spring is really getting along with rising the temperatures. Our guests are very impressed by nature, all the flowers and nice smell of the orange blossom. The many fruittrees in our front garden are also full of blossom. Along the way you’ll find a lot of daisies and beautiful mimosa. In the nearly four years that we live here, we have never seen so many mimosa trees in bloom. Stunning!
Hiking holiday Algarve by our Bed and Breakfast Portugal
Next month we receive many hikers in our B&B in the Algarve. They hike several trails and will enjoy the beautiful hinterland with its “Serra” and overwhelming nature. By the way, we have expanded our range of hiking tours. Besides our walking tour ‘Discover the Via Algarviana’, we offer also a walking tour ‘East Algarve’. During this last trip you will stay in two different guesthouses in the Algarve. Besides staying at our B&B Casal da Eira in São Brás de Alportel, you stay near the coast, in a B&B at Fuseta.
